Andre’ De’Leon Maurice Knott (born March 7,1998), better known by his stage name 1WayDre, is an American rapper and singer, born and raised in Cincinnati, OH.
1WayDre first developed a passion for music through Hip-Hop Dance. He later took to playing the drums and learning how to play the piano. Initially 1WayDre had desires to be a beat maker or music producer, it was then that the young upcoming artist found his love for writing lyrics.
1WayDre’s favorite artist is the one and only Future. He loves the gritty soulful street sound that the rapper Future produces in his music. 1WayDre’s next biggest musical influence would be his father Andre Sr. aka Big Dre. Not necessarily walking in his father’s footsteps but the artist definitely acknowledges that his father is probably one of the greatest writers and lyricist you have never heard of before.
It is Andre Sr. that pushes him to be great and they spend countless hours in their home studio where he records 90% of his music while his father engineers the tracks.
1WayDre is destined to top the charts and make a name for himself and the city of Cincinnati.
